This project involved a complete refurbishment of the existing pool, combining modern technology with premium finishes to create a pool that looks brand new while significantly improving performance and efficiency.
Pool Restoration & Upgrades
Adriatic Blue On-Site Reinforced Lining
Rather than replacing the existing fibreglass shell, we installed a premium Adriatic Blue reinforced on-site lining directly over the original surface. This provided the homeowners with the appearance of a brand-new swimming pool while extending the lifespan of the existing structure.
The vibrant Adriatic Blue finish creates crystal-clear water with a luxurious, Mediterranean-inspired appearance that perfectly complements the surrounding outdoor space.
New Shell Fittings & LED Lighting
All existing pool fittings were replaced with modern components, including:
New skimmer and return fittings
Brand-new shell fittings throughout
Energy-efficient LED underwater lighting
These upgrades improve water circulation, reliability and create a beautiful atmosphere for evening swimming.
Heating & Filtration Modernisation
High-Efficiency Inverter Heat Pump
The existing heating system was completely replaced with a new inverter air source heat pump, allowing the homeowners to enjoy cost-effective, year-round swimming.
The inverter technology automatically adjusts its output to match demand, delivering excellent energy efficiency and significantly lower running costs compared to older heating systems.
AFM® Filtration Upgrade
To further enhance water quality, we upgraded the filtration system using AFM® (Activated Filter Media).

Dove White Coping Stones
The renovation was completed with elegant Dove White coping stones, providing a crisp, contemporary finish that beautifully frames the pool while complementing the rich Adriatic Blue water colour.
Electrical Works by Optimum Electrics
All electrical installations and connections associated with the renovation, including the new heating system, filtration equipment and LED lighting, were completed by Optimum Electrics, ensuring every component was installed safely and to the highest professional standards.
Ongoing Pool Maintenance
Following completion of the renovation, the homeowners enrolled in one of Traditional Pools' fortnightly maintenance packages.
